Note To Self: Use a Whiteboard

Taking notes and writing down tasks are important part of our lives. Many of us use some sort of tool that compliments with our note-taking. Whether it’s a grocery list or just a simple to-do list, we all use some sort of memo pad as our tool. But if you’re in the habit of writing yourself a note and then chucking it to the trash once the note is completed, consider investing in a mini whiteboard. It saves paper, which is surely a great way to save trees. Just write-and-erase, instead of write- and-throw-away.

When purchasing a mini-whiteboard, make sure to purchase markers without toxic chemicals such as xylene or propylene glycol. You can look around your local office supply store to find water-based markers. Or if you like buying things online so you don’t have to waste gas just to go to the store, just do a quick online search for “water-based markers”, and you’ll find great and inexpensive markers out there. After shifting over to whiteboard and markers instead of pencil and paper, you should pat yourself on the back for saving plenty of paper and trees.
